Nice, Bob. Love the aquamarine colouring. Nice to see you've still go that lunar mojo working!

Awesome as always with your night shots, Bob. Looks like that 5D is going to give you a little more room to work with, no? Can't wait to see what else you cook up...

This is more like it ! I've been checking your site daily and really not "getting" a lot of the recent stuff. This I really like though.

Man, that place is going to look like a mountain dew float in about 2 months.

Hope you can make it up to cheeseland this weekend man!

comment by john at November 3, 2006 10:43 AM

the utter softness of the water in contrast with the sharp hardness of the rocks is delightful.

comment by aaron at November 3, 2006 11:13 AM

Love it! Back at the night shots and I'm excited for what comes next.

comment by Jeff Ambrose at November 3, 2006 01:32 PM

Hey Bob...I guess we all have that comfy zone....always nice to pop back there from time to time....I kinda get a feel for where you are going and I love it but that in no way makes your awesome night exposures of the lake any less photographs.....so for that...I am loviing the retro vibe. Enjoy that full moon...it's gonna be bright. Phil

Man, I am sooo jealous with how wide you can get with your 5d! Makes your night shots even more dramatic... get out there and shoot some more!

comment by brian at November 3, 2006 01:52 PM

Great nightshot as usual! I'm dying to see more!

This is an awesome shot. I love the curvature of the Earth.

comment by eugene at November 3, 2006 06:35 PM

i'm a photographer myself as well as a major fan of your long-exposure night shots. love 'em. i know you probably get a lot of this, but how do you get your camera to keep its shutter open for however long you did? i have a Nikon D70, if that helps. Again, wonderful shot.

comment by Francis at November 3, 2006 07:05 PM

Pretty cool... kinda looks like you can see the earth's roundness

comment by Andrew at November 3, 2006 09:52 PM

A great example of night photography. How long was the exposure ?

comment by Raymond Tse at November 4, 2006 12:30 AM
