"I'll have one in May - in the East Village. If you're there, I'll buy you one, too."

Watch what you say. You just may end up with twenty people there trying to take you up on that offer.

There's a chance I'll still be there. If so... I'm holding you to this.

Awesome - such perfect depth of field.

Great great composition, supported by perfect DoF. I love it. Oh, and that Jung quote is bang on. Love that guy. Enjoy the run and the "getting back into your body".

comment by Dan at November 30, 2005 08:17 AM

The DoF is so luscious I could just lick it. Perfect.

Like a steeple on a church. Great image, sounds like a nice find in the city on a warm day.

Unusual shot for you... How big was this ice cream cone?

I like the edge burn...

comment by john at November 30, 2005 09:13 AM

That's a great photo! You can still have icecream...especially when working out! Yes... you are in def. need of a HUGE dose of endorphins.....visiting your sister can produce the same results! (LOL!)

comment by kit at November 30, 2005 10:44 AM

Bloody hell man, this is awesome. The colour, light, focus, it's beautiful.

comment by miles at November 30, 2005 10:45 AM

I can't judge the size of the ice cream cone on this. Very good shot.

comment by Paul at November 30, 2005 11:21 AM

Nice cone. Thanks for making me fave of the day (again) :)

comment by Lala at November 30, 2005 12:55 PM

Thanks everyone -- the cone is HUGE -- it sites on top of an icecream truck -- meant to bring the people in! I just loved the juxtaposition of all the elements in this frame -- and the colors, of course. I have to say, I started out MANY years ago shooting slide film - and I still love it just as much today as I did back then... (yes, they made slide film that long ago :-) )

Wow, great capture. I agree the depth of field is perfect, and the colors really pop.
