This is just so sweet. I sooo want a Canon 5D!!!
Now I know those towers...what amazes me is that you said (on flickr) that you were only 15 feet away from them! Full Frame paired with a fisheye is amazing!
nice pic. but while reading your comment, only one fact captured all my thoughts. i'm so jealous of your new camera.
I am so jealous too. Can't wait to see what kind of pictures that camera is capable of, especially in your hands!
The 5D, I'm so jealous!!! I love shots of barn, this is really a great shot!
So envious!
This is a great old barn. I have a certain affection for them also. I am trying to decide if I like the new looking shed in this picture as as opposing force...
great shot and it's nice to see the barns again
Wow, the 5d? Where did you get it from, I thought they would only be available as of mid October!! What's your opinion after having tested it? We want your review :)
interesting. i'd like to know more about how this scene/image make you feel because personally that fish-eye makes me somewhat dizzy and also makes it hard to look at the image for a longer time.
colors look great though, almost velia-esque :-)
Clea -- read my review on the blog -- I picked the 5D up at B&H -- they sell them as quickly as they get them in!
Patrick -- did you pick up the right glasses today? ;-)
I'm loving the 5D -- I just wish the weekend was here! I have to head out again on business in the morning, and won't be back until Friday --- good thing I have FUTURE POSTING enabled!
I love your site - and the barn! I'm not sure about the fisheye though - I think the sky looks great but the effect on the ground is a bit unconvincing - it's a bit too close up and "fisheye" for my taste. I do absolutely LOVE your pictures of the bird boats though - they're FAB!
Love the new look to the site!
Congrats on the 5D. . .your lucky.
I love this fisheye picture. Was that with the Canon 15mm?
Mark -- yep -- that's the Canon 15mm fisheye -- a real beauty when stopped down a bit...
My aunt gave me her "old" dusty FT2 three years ago...and that's what got me intersted in photography. I love that camera, so solid. Anyway, great post, and I'd love to get my hands on the 5D.
