Mae Mae Chillin'
We just got back from spending some time in cottage country. The weather was just about perfect - maybe a tad on the cool side, but I like it like that.
This year was a lot of fun because Mae was much more aware of her surroundings - and it does seem as if she grew up so fast just in the short time we were there. I really enjoyed watching the two sisters swim and play together -- and figuring out boundaries - sisterhood is a tricky thing - and lots of fun to observe from a safe distance.
As for me, I'm a little worn out - funny how doing NOTHING does that to you. I'm actually looking forward to getting back in the club to workout in the morning - I feel like I put on 10 pounds in a week! (Moose Tracks ice cream is now one of my all-time favs!) My only wish is that we were still there - enjoying the fresh air and all of Mother Nature's wonderment's... Hopefully, we'll be back again next year - maybe for just a little longer...
It's good to be back - I have nearly 40 rolls of film to develop - and lots of sheets of 4x5 to scan -- hopefully, there's a good memory or two in there somewhere...
