She's no longer a baby. She has preferences. She makes choices. She knows the difference between sad and happy. She knows the power of sugar (kisses for those of you not in the know :-) ). She sings. She dances. She can count to 10 - backwards. She has friends. She loves just one dog. She can say applesauce! (I don't think I could say that until I was like 12)... She'll tell me when she's ready for a nap. She'll sleep in late. She loves her "slipper shoes" (see photo). She knows her way around the neighborhood. She likes to wrestle with the boys. She knows biting is a no-no.
I learn something from her every single day. I can't wait to see her in the morning. I love washing her hair. I love how she lightly pinches my arm while we read a book or watch TV together.
I love her more than a huge glass of ice-cold sweet tea on the hottest day of the year... I'm thankful everyday she's part of my life -- and that she wants me to be part of hers...
Have a wonderful weekend...
