Cafe

I don't get a chance to visit this place as much as I'd like - but when I do there's always great food and artwork to enjoy...

This week was my first full 5-day week with Mae. I was completely burned in the flame of it all by Saturday morning. I'm telling you -- there's no harder job in the world than raising a child. NO JOB - I'd rather deal with Gaza Strip / Pakistan / Swine flu / endangered species / world hunger - and all the other issues facing President Obama each day - that stuff is cakewalk compared to making an 18-month-old happy - no comparison.

With that said - dads who work - give mom a break today. Seriously. It's a tough job - and I speak from experience that she'll love you a tad more by simply giving her a few hours to herself... Just do it...

As for Mae's mom -- my wife -- thanks again for giving me such a wonderful child in Mae. She's a complete delight each and every day - I'm learning more and more about myself the more time I spend with her... I thought I had done it all -- I thought I endured the biggest challenges life tossed at me - until the day the internet went down and there were no Elmo videos to keep her entertained :-) Happy Mother's Day, Alison - I love you...

And mom -- Happy Mother's Day to you & I love you, too -- I think I'm doing a pretty good job with Mae because I learned from the best...

Enjoy the day -- Happy Mother's Day!
