Mae Posey Smith arrived at 9:57 AM Sunday morning - November 4th. She weighed in at 8lbs. 13.6oz and came into the world hungry! She's an eating machine. She's beautiful. She's robbed me of what I vaguely remember as sleep, but I wouldn't send her back for anything. I love her and her wonderful mom.

I wanted to thank everyone for the comments, letters, cards, gifts, and for just participating in this wonderful event. Ali and I promise to respond to emails just as soon as things settle down a bit, and we catch up a little on sleep - translation: you may hear from us this time next year :-)

I need to keep this short. I have to run out to get some things for baby!
