San

She looks great, doesn't she? I took this just a week ago or so. I was telling Ali that if I look at her from behind I wouldn't know she was eight months pregnant! It's like she stuffed a beach ball under her shirt!

She came home yesterday to tell me she ran into a Chinese woman who said, "I'm NEVER wrong - you're going to have a BOY - you're carrying that baby like it's going to be a boy -- I'm NEVER wrong!!" God, I love that woman :-) Yes, I admit - it would be incredibly cool to have a son - I think I'd faint in the delivery room -- or -- cry uncontrollably. I'm not sure I could handle a son - hell, I'm still like a kid myself and I'm almost 50! We could cruise for chicks :-)

Seriously - a healthy baby is what I wish for, not matter... Still... :-)

I find myself waking up each morning around 4:30 or 5 - just laying there - thinking about all the craziness about to enter into our family. I'm scared - I'm excited - I'm nervous - I worry I won't be a good father - I'm just plain vulnerable... I suppose that's all good... I dunno... we'll see soon enough!
