The weekend is here. It'll be a good one for me, for sure. If the weather holds out, Ali and I should get out to take a few images together. We've managed to take quite a few during our travels. I took this image while walking the streets of Manhattan with her this past spring. I'm trying to talk her into going back soon - it woudn't seem right to go without her - she's my inspiration.
Fall is here. Time to break out the widest lens you have. The trees will be showing their stuff real soon - a nice wide perspective captures fall's colors in all their brillance. Give it a try. Try to show us the bottom of the trees at the bottom of the frame - leaving plenty of room above the trees for those nice big fluffy clouds that float on by. Get out there!
Have a great weekend.
Oh -- one other thing -- I keep a silly site running called dogsbreath (www.dogsbreath.org). I've not done a good job of updating, and I can't leave comments on because of all the spam I can't control (I'm using an old version of pixelpost I think) -- If you have a really cool photo of your dog, send it along to me and I'll post it (of course, Lainey has final say on what goes up) -- if you have a cool story to go along with it, send that, too. Thanks -- dogs are God's gift to us - I can't get enough of them.
