Flawless Light in a Darkening Air

I'm back. I'm tired. The airlines lost my bag. But I had a great time. I feel like I put on 20 pounds from just plain and simply enjoying myself - and, at the same time - I feel lighter - from just taking time to think about things. I'll write more later, but I thought I'd put up this shot that Alison helped me make on the night of the full moon. We had a fantastical time. Lots of silly photos - nothing too serious - and lots of looking and listening to the birds (the Loons were -- well, Loony), and watching the spectacular northern Ontario sky every night -- amazing the amount of stars there are in the sky - makes me feel so insignificant in the midst of it all...

Oh -- and one thing I learned from reading a pretty good book: "You never get your ducks in a row". More on that later, I need some sleep. Lainey is coming home tomorrow. I can't wait - I thought of her every minute. We'll be heading out to the lake for a very long walk together - then, a nice workout for me - I really need it.

Have a great weekend! Do something you've wanted to do for a long while -- do it now.
