I managed to scan a roll of film I took with my Holga at the end of last summer. I had a very relaxing afternoon scanning all 12 frames and prepping some of them for posting this week. I'm really amazed by just how great the Nikon 9000 is - I'm really happy I made the investment (if you get one, be sure to also invest in the glass negative holder - makes all the difference in the world). I can't wait to see large prints from the scans - I bet they'll look amazing.
I thought I might try something a little different. I thought I might post up all 12 frames from this roll over the next few weeks - since I'm going to be a little busy with work. A few people sent me notes asking how I go about shooting through a roll of film - so let's just take a look what I came up with on this roll. I'll warn you ahead of time that the only two subjects I had in mind were an old barn I love - and this tree. I'll toss in a few other images I really like in between frames - but that's just to keep you from falling asleep.
I'm taking the images with me, so I'll post them when I have a break in the action - should help me to relax a bit. I know this week is going to be - well - hectic.
Enjoy your week ahead. For some of you, Spring Break is near. Try to behave yourselves. I miss those days -- I used to go to New Orleans most every year when I was in High School -- ahhh -- now THOSE were some crazy days...
Okay -- off I go...
