Exit

Stop with the fake tilt and shift crap in Photoshop -- really -- it's making my head all funny --- yes, it's kind of cool but damn, you can rent a view camera for less than 50 bucks for the weekend - and the movements are so simple, you'll be amazed... Just stop -- please... learn how to use a view camera -- and maybe you'll learn something about photography along the way... -- maybe not...

Okay -- about the photo --- cuz I know you probably want to know...

I went to Toronto this past weekend -- had a great time -- as always... Anyway -- my back was all out of whack -- but I managed to crawl over the fence at the Toronto Brick Works -- eery place - for sure... Here's the first picture I took... All I had with me was a little point and shoot (Ricoh GR1s, for those of you following along at home) --- I saw this shot in almost complete darkness -- I lifted my camera -- thought about the flash falloff -- and took the image... That glove does it for me...

The place is so eery -- but I'll tell you something -- if I was a Toronto photographer -- I'd be there shooting images with flash -- get your ass to this place -- it's edgy -- and it's not going to be there much longer ... the place is spooky -- but can you imagine shooting super models here? I can...

Enjoy the rest of your week...
