The Weekend! and a long one, at that -- thank God...

I came home a day early - and Lainey is still with the Orbit Family. Apparently, she's moved in with the Orbit Girls and is running the show up there. Figures. I have to admit, I miss her more than I thought I would. I don't like being in the house without her. She's ALWAYS with me. Yes, she campaigns hard for peanut butter (dropping the thing I put peanut butter in right in my lap like every 15 mintues) - Yes, she steals my socks and hides them - Yes, she hogs up the bed and somehow manages to wind up with all the damn blankets by morning - Yes, she usually gets half of whatever I'm eating (you try to say no to those eyes) - Yes, she snores - Yes - she's a pain-in-the-ass sometimes -- but damn I love that old dog... I won't see her until Saturday.

Enjoy your weekend. I plan on catching up on some scanning - sending out promised prints (Luke - you're top on the list!) - and making some images. I missed the full moon this time around completely. There was ONE night in Detroit when I looked up and saw the most beautiful moonrise I've seen in a very long time. I was out that night with one of my favorite clients - she's funny - she's entertaining - and she's good people -- so I didn't mind at all...

Take some time out this weekend to be extra kind to those around you... I've learned something over the last several years -- I'll share it with you -- it's simple -- kindness is a universal currency - spend away - it's okay to break the bank...
