I'm home - finally - after a LONG day of taking LOTS of photographs. I'll summarize my day:

Worked out. Walked Lainey. Grabbed a few cameras. Shot 11 rolls of film. Went home to let Lainey out. Looked outside to see the moonrise. Grabbed another camera and some batteries. Went out to the lake. Took a bunch of night shots. Spotted 4 owls, 12 deer, 1 coyote. Stopped to get graham crackers and water. Now home with Lainey.

A great day. Lots of sun. Lots of things to photograph. I used a handheld light meter the entire day. Loved it. I now have my very own Jobo processor so I can process my own slides and color negs. I'd say today was a very good day. 12 hours of nothing but making images and learning about light.

Hope your weekend is going equally well. I have Monday off, so tonight is really like Friday night!

I know you're going to ask - this image was 170 seconds at f/5.6 ISO 100 - I used the 17-40L for this one and maybe two other shots -- the rest of the night I used the fisheye lens (Canon 15mm) - WICKED is the word that comes to mind as I view the images for the first time. Stay tuned.
