Several people wrote and said they wanted to see the images published in Popular Photography - so I thought I'd post them up again this week. I had to rework them to some extent anyway - so they differ slightly from the originals I posted earlier. I love this one. I still remember that night. Freezing. Ass. Cold. I also remember as John and I got closer to the lake, we just couldn't believe what we were seeing - SURREAL is the word that comes to mind. I can tell you the lake looks NOTHING like this right now - and I'm not sure it will ever again. Last winter was simply amazing. I'm really hoping February whips up something equally beautiful.
The full moon is approaching. Friday night should be perfect IF the weather cooperates. John and I have plans to get out in it - I'm really hoping for crazy, chaotic cloud movement - with lots of moonlight in between. We'll see.
For those of you who have asked via email - yes - I'm going to write a nice tutorial. Stay tuned.
