Night Light

I took this image sometime during spring of last year. I used my Rolleicord and Fuji Acros film. If memory serves me right, the exposure was for 20 minutes at f/5.6. Film does funny things when you push its limits - but this shot turned out better than I had hoped. My thanks to my great friend and night photography partner, John for the stand development information.

For those of you interested - I processed the Acros in 1:100 Rodinal - I agitated normally every minute for the first 4 minutes - then, I let it stand for another 55 minutes - agitating ONE TURN at 20 minutes - and another turn at around 40 minutes. That's it. I then fixed and washed as I normally would. The negatives look pretty dang good - but then again the Rolleicord is a magic box in of itself.

Back to work tomorrow. I have a very busy schedule for the next 60-90 days - very busy. I'm determined to find the time to create more images, try out some new techniques, use my view camera, and process as much film as possible - I'll do my best - I can promise you that. If I should miss a few days here and there, I hope you understand.

Enjoy your week!
