I'm pretty excited this evening. I had a very long day of conference calls along with trying to manage two very challenging situations. By the time 5 o'clock rolled around, I was just plain exhausted. So - I decided to go grab a sandwich somewhere. I forget to eat when I have back-to-back calls all day - so I was a bit starved.

On my way out, I stopped by the mailbox. I'm so happy I did. Inside I found a large envelope. In that envelope there were two advance copies of the February issue of Popular Photography - and on pages 51, 52 and 53 I found my work -- MY work!! I'll just say I was energized immediately -- and a helluva lot more excited than I thought I'd be. In fact, I think I yelped a bit... I've read Popular Photography for as long as I can remember - and it was a very surreal feeling to see my night shots and interview right there - on the page. Man-oh-Man... I'm thrilled. Beyond belief.
