I'm really hoping for a big winter storm soon. I need some pretty ice on the lake - lots of it - mounds of it. Just like last year. I don't think it will happen in time for this full moon - but my good friend John is predicting a wild and wooly February. I hope so. I need a nice dramatic full moon and lots of pretty things in the night to photograph.
I managed to screw up not one, but two, rolls of film last night. I'm not exactly sure what happened - but it forced me to mix all new chemicals. The roll I processed tonight turned out fine, except every dang shot was of Lainey (which is fine by me - but you know...) - I must have been testing something out and just didn't make note of it on the roll. Oh well - at least it turned out fine. I was a bit frustrated last night once I cut my negatives and popped them up on the light table. I may post one of them - warts and all - just because it's sort of a cool photo. (Thanks JP for helping post-mortem - that's what I get for laying off for so long!)
Have a nice Wednesday.
