Route 45 Dairy Farm

I've been working on documenting a few old farms up for demolition in the near future. I try hard not to think of the day when the bulldozers arrive - instead, I'm taking the opportunity to photograph and explore them all I can. Each time I visit one these old places, a new memory comes back to me from the summers I spent working hard on the farm. I will say it was the hardest work I've ever done - but also the most rewarding. Somehow, I think I missed my calling - or maybe I was just born too late...

Be sure to check out John's site for more cool images from his dad -- they simply rock.
