Harvest Moon
It's Sunday night - what a weekend. I'm beat! The moon is big and bright - but I'm in watching the Sox game (yes, I'm a Northsider, but I want to see a Chicago team in the World Series!). I'll get out tomorrow night for awhile - if I can find the time. As usual, I had a great time up at the Orbit Ranch -- we took lots of shots -- and poked fun at each other every chance we got.. Please be sure to check in with John for the next two weeks - he has a special treat for everyone - DO NOT MISS A SINGLE DAY! John and I had a blast last night scanning his dad's old slides -- and I think after the 3rd bottle of wine, neither of us could tell magenta from cyan -- quite comical - but the images are just KILLER. Don't miss 'em. Enjoy your week. I'm heading off for a mini-vacation Thursday morning. I do have the future posting capability - so I'll be sure to queue up some images for you while I'm away. I shot some really cool 4x5 Polaroids yesterday -- I think you might like them. NOTE: Tonight's image has what I think is a cool green cast to it -- it came from a small flourescent light the farmer had up on a pole -- I thought it added to the mood. The sky is exactly as I saw it -- one of the best nights of the year. Listening to: Drifting - Sarah McLachlan |
