A very long exposure -- about 12 minutes. It was so dark out there, I almost packed it in and went home - but I fired the shutter and waited. Then, along came a sailboat - heading for the marina - navigating the channel. You can see the port and stern lights in the photo - one of the reasons I like the photo... Hope you do, too. I have about 10 more night shots to share - taking us right up to the next full moon (9 days 16 hours from now) -- but -- I have some other things I'll share, too -- so stay tuned - as I always like to say.
I'm a little worn around the edges. I had a busy week - but a good week. Just when I think I've convinced myself that working at Taco Bell would be a good career move, I have a fun and challenging week -- and I realize I was born to be a businessman. It's just in my blood. I like to be in the thick of things - I love the smell of opportunity - and the adrenaline rush I get while swimming in the sea of uncertainty - trying my best to make it all work out... Yep - I like that - no matter what I tell myself at the end of the day.
Thankfully, it's Friday. Time to focus on other things - I'm hoping for good light this weekend. I have a few projects in mind, and fall colors are everwhere - not to mention all the wonderful migrating birds... pure joy for me...
Enjoy your weekend -- and take inventory of the things you love - the things you're good at -- and be thankful for what you have...
