A Day in the Life...

Natalie and Jim visited Chicago a few weeks back. If you've been following along, you'll remember six of us went on a boat ride because we were too hung over to do much else. Anyway, I showed everyone around town and then slid over to my favorite sushi place. We had a blast. I'd say it was the best day of the summer for me (not sure if was still summer - but just go with it)...

I just got home from a long weekend - a little worn from having the flu all dang weekend - and found a little envelope from England. Inside I found these wonderful cards from Natalie. She's an incredible illustrator - still does it all by hand - no computer stuff for Nat - I respect that - a lot. More importantly, I LOVE these cards - each one has a story behind it - probably wouldn't mean much to anyone outside our little group of six - I love that, too... Thanks, Nat & Jim - I'm so happy we finally met - a real treat. Thanks, Nat for the cards -- wonderful to come home to.

Oh -- I'll include the titles:

1. Cuba
2. Moon Days
3. Sushi Dragons
4. Bean there
5. Them baguettes again
6. That taxi ride

BRILLIANT! :-)

Be sure to check out John's site for more cool images from his dad -- they simply rock.
