Update: Okie Dokie -- I'm just getting back to the computer -- I didn't have time last night to give credit where REAL credit is due. Alison is the brains behind all three images -- she helped me create the effect I was looking for (Davin is right - I love Mark Tucker's work.

For the longest time, I've been toiling over how to achieve the effects like this. The weather in Toronto sucked yesterday - and again today - so I BEGGED Alison to show me the trick. I spent the better part of the evening watching her work her magic on-screen - simply amazing. She's gifted - and for the life of me, I don't understand why she doesn't apply her techniques to her own image -- but I think I may have an idea - she prefers to let her images stand on their own -- and she saves her talent for her day job - working for a really cool Ad Agency in Toronto. She's done some really amazing things.

So -- she's showed me the trick -- did I get it? Well -- I'm going to try my hand at it when I return back home - I know it's not going to be easy -- but Alison is pretty patient with me - maybe I'll have something halfway decent up by the end of the year :-)
