I'm feeling a bit better - the medicine is kicking in. I took Lainey for a walk - I was driving her crazy with my whining and bitchin'... Anyway - I took my lomo fisheye with me -- and the SX-70 -- I love both cameras -- fun to shoot with -- the SX-70 camera and film just amaze me. I love looking through the lens and focusing with the split prism -- smokin' .. just love it...
Hey -- if any of you (Mr. Bill -- this may be a little late for you) are thinking of purchasing the Epson 4990, be aware there are fogging issues under the scan glass. I just experienced this tonight - and it appears to be a known issue. I'm calling Epson to have my scanner replaced... Apparently, the plastic inside the scanner causes the fogging when the elements heat up... Not good... there's no easy way to remove the glass - nor should I have to do that... I'm not detecting any problems with my images -- yet -- but if the issue gets worse, I'm certain I'll experience scan quality issues. It's always something, eh?
I need rest. Have a great weekend -- I have chemicals out and ready to go! If I'm going to be stuck at home - I'm going to at least get some film done... Oh -- and I think the switch to the new host will happen soon! It will be so nice to cue up images for future posting...
I Love You - Blu Cantrell
