It's Friday ... what a week. Hard to beat this one... I'll leave it at that... Oh - I met a really cool dog named Gilbert -- cool name for a dog, huh? A new little Bulldog ... I scratched behind his ear and his little leg started going crazy - I love that...

I'm heading up to the Orbit Ranch tomorrow afternoon. I'll drag Lainey along with me - and we'll stay all weekend. So - I'll hear, 'The wheels on the bus go 'round and 'round' a thousand times -- and I'll be asked to read good-night stories (Helen picks the really LONG ones!) - and I won't be able to sleep in --- but that's okay. I always have a blast with the Orbit Family... Too much fun -- I'm not sure I can handle all that fun after this week... but I'll try... I'll drag a mess of gear up with me - and maybe we'll take more gearporn shots --- but mostly we'll be using the view camera -- and the twins that arrived on my doorstep today - more on that later...

So -- I'll be with a great family -- taking photos - and just enjoying life... I hope you do the same. The days are growing shorter -- and I noticed the birds beginning to flock together... I think we're in for another hard winter. Take a look around - you'll see what I mean -- huge flocks of birds... it's not even August yet... Get out there and enjoy the summer while it lasts... As I've found - it's never too late...
