A small joke between Courtney and I --- that's what's in the title... When she was small - I watched David Letterman almost every night. He had a skit - I can't quite remember the premise -- but I do know he would say - 'Beutay is mah biszness' -- sort of like that ... it had something to do with a beauty shop -- can't remember... I thought it was funny -- so -- I taught Courtney to say it - she was all of maybe 2 years old - cute as a button -- and we'd be in a grocery store line - and I'd cue her up - and she'd say to the closest person in line -- 'Beutay, is MAH biszness' ... Classic -- funny -- and people loved it ---- guess you had to be there....

It's Friday -- my last day of vacation. I accomplished - well - not everything I intended --- but that's okay. I've had one hell of a wonderful last seven or eight days -- my daughter came to visit - not once, but twice -- I processed some cool film - I took some great pics -- and watched someone almost hurl while riding in a sports car (I really enjoyed that - a lot) ...
