Okay Okay! I'm alive! Really --- I THOUGHT I mentioned I'd be out on the road this week - I guess I didn't - sorry! I'm back, but have tons of things going on at the moment. So - I have to find time to scan my negs - AND - process the 15 rolls of film sitting on my counter! In the meantime - here's a shot from a walkabout I did at Chicago Botanical Garden. I now have a 2 year pass - I liked it that much. My apologies to those of you who dislike flower shots - but indulge me this one shot. I have lots of very cool surprises coming up - I promise!

My Cuba itinerary just arrived! Oh boy -- I'm already planning and scheming with Orbit John as to which cameras and film I should load up for the trip. I swear, I'm seriously thinking of taking just two pair of shorts and only a few t-shirts - just so I have more room for film! This will most likely be my last trip to Cuba -- so I'm going to make the most of it. I'll probably fly in several days early and stay in Havana. I'll shoot color slide film in the morning and evenings -- and b&w during the day... Yes, I'm obsessed, but I can't help it -- I actually DREAM about the places I'll revisit - and how I'll set up the shot -- it's that bad. Oh -- and I plan on seeing LOTS of beautiful birds -- but probably won't photograph them - I'll leave that to someone else - I just enjoy watching them for hours on end.

Thanks to EVERYONE who sent emails, wondering what the hell happened to me. I feel loved :-) I'll be back tomorrow (God willing)...
