John took this image of me awhile back. Like most photographers, I find it hard to look at pics of myself - or let people take them of me. Dunno why - just is.

I didn't like this one at first - the color isn't that great - and I'm doing something funny with my mouth (probably telling John to take the lens cap off) - but after some time went by I thought it was okay - especially given the fact it was shot in VERY low light, at f/1.2 - handheld. Not bad. Nice job JP.

It's Monday. I have a crazy busy week in front of me. I'm re-engaged at work. I love what I do, but there are times when I just have to shut my brain down - and there are times when I have to be very focused. For the past several weeks, I've been focused - and will continue to be until about July. The good thing is I seem to have found a nice balance between photography and work. So there shouldn't be much disruption in my posting. I will be posting a few images from other photographers - this one being the first. Not because I don't have images of my own (I have about 200 images on negs that need to be scanned!), but because I really like the images and want to show them to you. Actually - it's only two images coming up...
