I meant to get something up earlier, but the day got away from me. Work. Imagine that.

Here goes my run at another year of posting. I was telling John and Ian today that I spent the first year back just trying to regain my eye for composition - I think I did okay there. Now, I need to focus on making great exposures. I'm of the opinion that an image has a better chance in life if only exposed properly. Yep, composition is key -- but the combination of the two are just killer. So -- I'll spend a lot of time working with just one particular film, and one developer this summer -- and I'll be shooting lots of it -- and analyzing.... It's the only real way to learn.

Don't fret - I'll still be heading out for some night images -- sort of my respite, if you will.

I'll also write more in my blog about books I read -- galleries I visit (I'm heading to NYC in May to see the Arbus display) -- and just general tips I pick up along the way you might be able to use yourself. So - as always - stay tuned!
