I had the greatest time the other night - the light was just wonderful. John is a good sport, too. I hauled his ass all over the lake front. I took him to my 'secret' place. I think John got some great b&w shots there - we'll see once he soups up the negatives.
This shot was taken during one of our breaks. I just set up the camera, and John and I just chatted about life. I think we hiked a good 7 or 8 miles that night - a lot of the distance through soft sand. Not easy. Ahhh, the things we do for the love of images... (Exposure data: 440 seconds f/7.1 ISO 100)
I was going to head out again tonight to shoot a barn I've been after, but it's supposed to snow! Can you believe it? I was out earlier with my dogs - it was about 50F, really nice. I saw a pair of Meadowlarks along with a nesting pair of Bluebirds -- We don't need NO STINKIN' SNOW! If it's nice tomorrow night, I'll be out again.
This is my Friday image. I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend. If you celebrate Easter, rejoice - if not, relax and find peace. I ran across a nice quote the other day. I thought I'd share it with you:
The mind creates the abyss, and the heart crosses it. -Sri Nisargadatta
