Rock Steady

John and I didn't get out for night shots last night - snow moved in and spoiled the whole thing. But - that's okay - we got lots of other things done. Let's see, we set up my printer (been in the wrapper for well over 6 months - don't ask), we did some pretty cool stuff in Photoshop, we set up some studio lights (photos to follow soon), we scannned some images so I could learn a few cool new tricks, we had our usual equipment fest (just happens that way - we end up dragging out almost everything we own, I suppose to justify the purchases), stopped at Starbucks twice, had some sushi, used my new Holgaroid (okay, not so new - it too was in the box for quite some time), and just talked photography pretty much the whole time. It's a damn good thing John lives 90 minutes away - I'd NEVER get any real work done! Thanks, JP - I had great time, as always.

I hope to process several rolls of film today. John and I found out that Polaroid 85 has both a positive AND a negative -- and the negative is WAY cool - 6x6 (my favorite format) - so I have some negs to scan a bit later. Be sure to visit John's site today. He has some cool links related to the Holgaroid, and some information you might find useful.
