This time last year I was in Cuba. I've visited many places around the world during my 45 years, but Cuba - Cuba made the biggest impression on me. I wish I would have gone back again this year - I just didn't have the time - and too much going on in my life. As I write these words, I'm reminded of Cuban life. A place where people have very little material possessions, and plenty of time on their hands, but still seem to me some of happiest and fervent souls I've ever encountered. That trip in early '04 changed my life - I appreciate my life so much more because of the experiences I had - and because of the people there who touched my life. I am eternally thankful.
