I went out tonight for a little while to capture a few images under the moon - about 83% full at the moment. We're supposed to get snow tonight, and in to tomorrow - so I wanted to take advantage of a relatively clear night. John and I are hoping to get out again tomorrow night if things clear up.
I like this image - but let me tell you a small secret -- it's out of focus. I forgot to bring my little light, and a pair of reading glasses (yes, I've arrived at that magical age) - so I could see where my focus scale was set at. I couldn't remember which way I needed to turn the lens to set it at infinity - I guessed wrong. Oh well, I still like it. I figured things out eventually. The rest of my images will be a bit more in focus.
