First, you may want to read John's account of what happened last night. I'm very disgusted by the whole thing. In fact, I got very little sleep last night - and I'm feeling very, very upset - and I can't quite imagine just how John feels, if I feel this nauseated.

What's really disturbing to me is when we met up at our spot last night - and after we exchanged the usual fun jabs at one another, John told me about how he sent money to one of our fellow photographers (a student on a very tight budget) to help keep his/her site up and running. John is a very generous and thoughtful man - and while no one deserves to have their belongings stolen - it's particularly painful for me to see it happen to my friend John.

I post this image because you can see - just on the right of the frame - the bag John refers to in his post. I'm hoping we'll see this same bag again (along with all its contents) soon.

John - I know you're reading this -- and I want you to know you can use my Rolleicord for as long as you'd like -- I know if I said this to you in person, you'd decline - because that's the sort of person you are -- very humble and kind - exactly why I want you to have it -- until you find a replacement.
