I was born in Chicago, and I love my hometown. One of the things I've always loved is the EL -- not just the train -- but the whole package -- the tressles, the conductors, the platforms, the stations - everything.

I'm working on my black and whitle skills now. You'll see that I'm not cropping out the edges -- this is to remind myself to compose the image in-camera. Plus, I think it sort of looks cool. Special thanks goes to Ian - he sent me a great recipe for processing my negs (I love those one shot thingys! Very cool).

Of course my Fav of the Day is at Orbit 1 -- be sure to check it out all week. John is away, but all his favorite artists stepped in to contribute an image or two to make things look all nice. Dave at Chromasia really wanted to send along an image -- but his cameras have decided not to cooperate!
