The wind signals fall - summer is on its way out... I'll miss it. I had a great time this summer - probably one of my best in a very long time. Mae is growing up so fast - it's scary. Before I know it - she'll be off to school - and I won't know what to do with myself... Honestly - I can't remember what the hell I did with my summers the last few decades or so...

I don't remember what the heck she was doing when I took this photo - maybe she wanted to get out to go chase the birds -- maybe she was laughing at my corny jokes -- either way -- I'm so happy we have each other --- Mae is a godsend...
