I think fall is sneaking in a bit early. Before I left for the club at 5:45 this morning, I looked at the outdoor temperature - 40F - COLD - I wore my Harley-Davidson wool cap - I was still chilled.

We went to Buffalo yesterday so I could have Canada Immigration validate my Permanent Residence Visa - and to do a little shopping - J. Crew is my favorite store in the universe - I've shopped there for as long as I can remember -- before it was an actual storefront - I use to order from a catalog -- that was a long time ago... The thing I love about them is their classic styles - they don't change much over the years -- my kind of place... Anyway - I picked up some new jeans (my sister will be happy to know I got straight-legs this time -- no baggy stuff :-) ) -- and a few other things.

So - I think I'm ready for fall. I'm in week eight of my "I can beat Mike Tyson" workout schedule -- I'm starting to feel it -- and it's all good. I really got sidetracked over the last 18-24 months -- but having a little one to care for will do that... Now -- I feel like I'm hitting my stride again -- and I'm beginning to think beyond Elmo & Dora & Max & Ruby --- I'm noodling my next move... Should be fun...

It's already a beautiful day today -- my new weather station (a little something I found at Target - my other favorite store!) tells me it's 62F and rising. Enjoy your Sunday -- and may you hit your stride...
