Glow

I've been working with a few vintage lenses - and film I picked up in Japan. The film is actually for copying documents - it's very SLOW film (ISO 6) - and when you see the negatives it sort of takes you by surprise - there's very little tonality - for the most part the image is either black - or white - very little in between. I haven't worked with the combination much -- but I plan on doing more if I can find the time - I like the combination of unorthodox film - and vintage lens - makes for interesting results.

In other news -- Mae learned how to go down the slide yesterday. She was really nervous at first (I'm talking about one of those little plastic slides - not the big ones) - but once she went down a few times she was hooked -- she couldn't stop giggling. She just kept going back for more -- and ended up slugging a boy because he kept cutting in front of her... She doesn't take guff from anyone -- wonder where she gets that from?

I'm thinking of redesigning this site a bit -- I'd like to add a section for photo tips / news / etc -- nothing too technical -- just for fun and learning... Maybe a different way to present the images, too.

Have a great weekend!
