Fearless

Yes, I know - I take a lot of photographs of her - but I can't help it. We're together every day - I've been with her all of her life (sans about 100 hours when I went to visit my sister in Atlanta). We love each other - we don't have a choice. Soon we'll be hanging out five days a week - just Mae and me. Alison will go to five day work weeks - and I'll lose my Freedom Friday's. Oh well -- only 40 months until Kindergarten!

I took her to the playground this past Friday -- I put her on a swing and gave her a push. She giggled the whole time - then - it hit me - I'm doing something good with my life. I'm where I want to be. I'm shaping my daughter's life - I'm teaching her skills that she'll carry with her for a lifetime - even after I'm gone. I never realized the importance of it all - until that very moment - when she was smiling and so happy to be with her dad - discovering something new and wonderful - together...

It's sunny out - and warm - and I'm on my way down to The Falls tomorrow to see a great friend - and to take a few photos.

Enjoy the weekend!
