I always think of Memorial Day Weekend as the early start of summer. Pools open, Little League is full swing, and it's warm enough to sit out and drink a few nice cold drinks. It's also a time to honor our soldiers and those who have fallen before us.

I'll miss being back in the US for this holiday, but I'll celebrate - and honor - from here. Enjoy the long weekend and give thanks.
