Timeless

I love this place. I walk by it several times a week and I never grow tired of admiring the windows. There aren't many places like this left, and I suspect once Maggie passes on someone will try to turn it into a coffee shop or newsstand. I believe she told me she's 91 - but that's hard for me to believe because she was out there this winter during one of our biggest snowfalls - shoveling snow with great resolve. I'm guessing she'll be around several more years -- may even outlive me...

My mom will be here soon. I haven't seen her in a good long while - she's never met Alison - or Baby Mae - or Crazy Girl -- so we should have lots of fun!

I'm out of here for the rest of the week -- it's Wednesday - you're halfway home to the weekend!
