I have to head back to the U.S. for a few days. I've been in Canada for almost six months, and my immigration paperwork isn't complete - so I need to leave the country and come back. I'm hoping to have my legal immigrant status before the next time my visa runs out. That will be a good thing.

I really hate leaving now. Baby Mae is starting to coo - and she smiles - and I think I heard her say, "Leica"!! I just love being with her. Every day brings something new - something I never experienced before because I was just not as involved as I am now. I'm having a blast with her...

And -- I'll miss Ali. We've had a crazy wonderful last six months - and I'm looking forward to the rest of my life with her - we have a blast, too :-)

I'm heading down to see my sister - in nice warm weather. PLUS - I'll get to catch up a little on sleep (sorry Ali)... I'll be back before you know it.
