Big Exit

It's official. I've retired from Corporate America. I feel like I need to go out and celebrate a bit, but I still have things I need to move to storage. The painters are coming in on Thursday to finish up, and I need to get my butt up to Toronto once the house is officially on the market. I will say, I feel relieved. I feel pretty calm - despite the fact I don't have a J*O*B any longer! That's okay - I could always get a newspaper route - or run the Zamboni machine for the Leafs! Go Leafs Go! (I think I have that right)...

I took my eldest daughter out last night for dinner. I always enjoy chatting with her. She has her whole life in front of her, and doing what SHE wants to do -- I'm very happy about that. She stayed over, and then woke up and managed to clean out my whole kitchen - she took everything! All my cool sushi knives, woks, cool cookware, plates -- she made out alright.

Now, I just need to turn in my stuff at the office sometime tomorrow, then, I'm left to my own devices. I'll be in Toronto by Memorial Day Weekend -- then off to NYC for a little R&R with Ali. I also can't wait to get back in the club to workout so I don't look like such a girlyman. In the meantime, I'm going to look out the window - and not worry about a thing...
