Lainey and I slept in this morning, followed by a nice walk around the lake. Then, I picked up a few new photo magazines, and lounged on the couch for the rest of the day. I also picked up a sketchbook and pencils. I'm determined to learn how to draw something more than stick figures. If anyone has any tips they'd like to share, I'm game. I did pick up a book titled, "Keys to Drawing" by Bert Dodson. Seems pretty good. I've been down this road before, and each time I've ended up giving my sketchbooks (empty) away to my sister. Not this time - my goal is to make a decent sketch of Lainey by the end of the year. Stay tuned.
