I really need to figure out how to build a site that will allow me to show a series of images. Maybe an external link activated by clicking on the main image which then takes you to a series of related images. I say this because I'm working on a series about a few abandonded houses I've found. One of them is not very far from where I live. I swear, the family was there one day and gone the next. This particular image is part of the series. It's as if martians sucked them up into the mothership and took them away - leaving behind all their possessions.

I'll tell you more about this house as I post more images this week, but I have to tell you something funny that happened while I was walking around on the property shooting images. The sun was setting very quickly so I had to work fast and ran through my first roll in a flash. I sat down on the front stoop to load more film. As I was loading I heard a creaking noise right behind me. I almost dropped everything and ran! It about gave me a heart attack! I know the place is empty, but still...

Oh - and about two weeks ago, I was driving by thinking about maybe taking some night shots on the property. As I went by, I noticed there were lights on in the downstairs! Spooky...
