I'm planning a tour through the US with my brother-in-law sometime in the spring. He was the one who encouraged me to take the motorcycle safety course, and buy my bike. Blame it all on him. I'm just crazy about being out on the open road. I've been a student of Eastern Thought for as long as I can remember, and being out on the road is as close to Nirvana as I've experienced -- delightful and wonderful. Thanks, Eric -- you've made a difference in my life - I'm grateful.
So -- I've been mixing things up a bit - carrying a camera with me while I ride. I've take a few images on film - but I've taken so many more in my mind and stored them away. I'm trying to get my photo mojo going again - and I'm starting to feel it. I'll get it back soon, I'm sure.
I went to see the chiropractor today - and it was a little melancholy and gleeful all rolled into one. He's taken good care of me over the last month - thanks, Doc - you're the best -- but now I'm all better and I'm working out - and paying close attention to what I eat - and stretching -- and all that. Still, it'll be strange not to have to go back - but I'm happy I'm all better. It's good to know he's there - in case I slip again.
Wednesday. Hump Day. Half-way to the weekend. A good thing. Take a deep breath. Be good to those that make you bite your tongue - you'll be swimming in the final summer light soon...
