There I was on the treadmill today, listening to Rush - "Finding My Way" - when suddenly something snatched my brain and said, "get your butt out there and take some photos, it's what you do best". Like a wave crashing over me, I tell ya. Suddenly I can see again! I have the film fever! Hell, I'll even shoot with a digicam if I have to! Doesn't matter to me - I need to get with it - get snapping - break out the chemicals - where's my softbox? where's my remote? where the hell did I put those lenses? (I won't ask where I put the film because I'm reminded each and every time I open my fridge - it's FULL of film!)
Music does that to me - brings me back around. Especially when I listen to songs I haven't heard in awhile - like the song I'm listening to now - Humble Pie - incredible band - Peter Frampton played lead guitar (but left before they recorded 30 Days in the Hole) - Still, it's a fantastic song. If you get a chance to listen to Smokin' you won't be disappointed...
Listening to: 30 Days in the Hole - Humble Pie (the Black Crows wish they were this good)
