The weekend is upon us. Enjoy it. Chicago will host the Air and Water Show -- pretty cool. I think I'll keep my distance. I have lots of other things to catch up on. I have - well - I have LOTS of film to scan. I have lots of photos to take.

My 5D is in the hospital. I think it's not looking good. Thankfully, she's under warranty. I got a note from Canon - they've never seen anything quite like it. Maybe it was all those late-night shoots :-) Hey - I learned from John - gotta run the camera gear through its paces... right?

I have a feeling Canon will announce the 5D follow-on around the end of the month. I have my pennies saved -- my piggy bank is full. A few more megapixels and some weather proofing is exactly what I need. One can dream...
