I'm back. I'm amazed by just how much we managed to squeeze in over just a few days. I'll write more about it this week. I'm a tad worn out - in a good way.
Lainey is home. That makes me happy.
Special thanks to Joe, Keith, Anne, and Greg for taking time out of your weekend to meet up with us. I just hope you had half as much fun as we did. A special treat to meet all of you, for sure.
Okay, on to the new week (and a short one at that - thank goodness).
For those of you who would like to know -- this is a shot I made with my 4x5 pinhole camera. I used Polaroid 79 - I just like the emulsion - it's unpredictable when shooting long exposures. This one was about 11 seconds.

If I were a painter
I would paint my reverie
If that's the only way for you to be with me
We'd be there together
Just like we used to be
Undertneath the swirling skies for all to see
And I'm dreaming of a place
Where I could see your face
And I think my brush would take me there
But only...
If I were a painter
And could paint a memory
I'd climb inside the swirling skies to be with you
I'd climb inside the skies to be with you
