A few weeks ago I had the flu - this week a serious upper respiratory/cold thing - I'm worn - I'm beat. I need this weekend to just catch up - I feel overwhelmed by so many things going on in my life. My world is slightly out of kilter... I've had a strange nagging feeling - pulling at me - for weeks now. I feel anxious, but I can't put my finger on it. My life is different somehow - and I'm not sure what to make of it all. I'm doing my best to spin things in a postive way - but I find myself spiraling downwards in a sea of confusion... I'll be fine - I'm just a little tired...

Enjoy your weekend - the ducks, geese, and loons have arrived. If you live anywhere near water, get out there and look for them. If you want a good bird guide - David Sibley published two small books - one for the western half of the US and the other for the eastern half (The Sibley Guide to birds of Eastern/Western North America) - pick one - depending on where you live - and go out and find some of the most beautiful birds you'll ever see.
